  1. “WE HAVE nothing to hide…I am afraid of nothing!” With indignant words and a clenched fist,
François Fillon (法蘭索瓦‧費雍) put on a muscular display of defiance at a campaign rally in
Paris this week. Before a crowd of 15,000 flag-waving, mostly grey-haired supporters, the centreright presidential candidate promised to make France the “greatest European power” within ten
years, to put “liberty” at the heart of his campaign, and to declare a war on both poverty and
“radical Islam”. The event pointed to unity as well as force: Alain Juppé (阿蘭‧朱佩), the
Republican (共和黨) primary candidate defeated by Mr Fillon, applauded his rival from the front
row. But the choreography could not conceal an awkward fact: Mr Fillon’s candidacy is in real
    trouble. (extracted form The Economist)
  2. Security experts in the United States are baffled by Mr. Trump’s executive order abruptly barring
entry by citizens from seven mostly Muslim countries, noting that it will ultimately put the
security of the United States at risk by sending a uniform message of hostility to 1.6 billion
    followers of Islam.
In Mexico, government officials are scratching their heads about what Mr. Trump hopes to
achieve by threatening to walk away from the trade agreement that has cemented bilateral
relations for the last quarter-century. And who knows what Mr. Trump thinks the United States
would stand to gain by leaving the World Trade Organization? (extracted from New York Times)

Donald trump’s critics look down on his communication skill. Unlike Franklin D. Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan. They are a good communicator. Despite all the Americans, some people don’t like them. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan do their best to listen to Americans’ demands and attempt to win over middle voters. Compare to them, Donald trump only listen to his supporter. His presidential speech sounds like election propaganda. Then, after he becomes president. He always publishes false news and Issues provocative orders. Middle voter doesn’t trust him, but Trumps strengthen his and his supporter relationship at the same time.
