馬英九總統下午接見新任駐日代表沈斯淳（Shen Ssu-tsun），強調政府遴派外交部副首長駐日，
代表政府對臺日關係的重視，同時勉勵沈代表延續馮寄台（Feng Chi-tai）代表過去 3 年多努
力經營的各項對日網絡，持續提升臺日實質關係。
President Ma meets Japanese diplomat Shen say-tsun. Ma emphasizes Taiwan governments send the vice minister of Taiwan’s foreign ministry to Japan because the Taiwan government pay attention to the friendship between Taiwan and Japan.
